European acetic acid  imports in November declined by 23% month on month but fell by only 1% year on year to 42,582 mt, according to the latest Eurostat data.

Over the first 11 months of 2017 imports totaled 409,742/mt, down 25% from the same period of 2016.
Exports continued to be dwarfed by imports as Europe kept its status as a net importer of AA.
European exports in November came close to doubling month on month, up 82% to 2,910 mt. The rose 16% year on year.
European acetic acid prices were last assessed Thursday unchanged at Eur585/mt ($715/mt) FD NWE.
